Submit Abstract for ESPT

Rules for submission

The author is expected to attend the congress and present the poster or oral presentation. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission. All abstracts must be presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

Participants are invited to submit abstract for oral or poster presentations before August 8, 2011. Abstracts can only be submitted online. Poster session is an extremely important part of this event, therefore all participants are encouraged to present their work. All accepted extended abstracts will be published in the book of abstracts. Authors will be notified on the type of presentation (oral or poster) by August 31, 2011. The time limit for oral contribution will be 15 minutes including discussion. The best three posters will be awarded.

 

Guidelines for submission

  • The abstract should be as informative as possible. State specific object of the study and methods used, if pertinent. Summarise results obtained and state conclusions reached.
  • Standard abbreviations may be used.
  • Abstract should be submitted in good English.
  • Abstract should be prepared as a Word file using this template. The template has two columns with top, left and right margins of 2.5 cm and bottom margin of 3 cm. The font is Times New Roman 12 point and Times New Roman 8 point for references, figures and tables captions. Please do not alter the font or margin size. The abstract template includes specific instructions on the format of title, author and affiliations.
  • References should be numbered consecutively through the text and a separate list of references must be given. The number of references is limited to 2. Examples of references are listed below.

  • Abstract length should not exceed 500 words. Abstracts that do not comply may be rejected or require re-submission.
