As local hosts and Chairpersons of 4th BBBB Conference, it is our great pleasure, to invite you to participate in 4th BBBB Conference entitled New Trends in Drug Discovery, Delivery Systems and Laboratory Diagnostics that will be held in Bled in autumn 2011.

In putting together the Conference Programme, we were especially sensitive to the need of pharmaceutical and biomedical scientists in academia, industry and laboratory to work hand in hand towards better understanding of the diseases etiology, towards the development of new drugs and diagnostic markers, and towards the creation of new therapeutic strategies. A major goal of the Conference is therefore to facilitate and reinforce contacts and networking between academia and profession, basic and clinical researchers and patients as well. To guarantee the quality of future research and new practical applications in our field, exchange and discussion between experienced colleagues, young scientists and professionals must be enthusiastically promoted. For this reason during 4th BBBB Conference the young scientist competition will be organized.

Finally and importantly, the Organizing Committee of the 4th BBBB has decided to substantially reduce the registration fee for Young Scientists. Therefore we hope that in spite of not easy economic situation, this will motivate you to participate in the Conference.
